Woodland Drive Two-Vehicle Collision Seriously Injures Minor
Edgewater, FL (September 14, 2017) – An 11-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after the vehicle he was in was rear-ended by another vehicle on U.S. 319 Thursday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred around 7 a.m. September 14.
The report showed a southbound Jeep Wrangler turned onto Woodland Drive when he rear-ended a Nissan Altima, pushing it onto the road’s shoulder.
The impact seriously injured an 11-year-old boy from Crawfordville. He was a passenger inside the Altima.
The two other children on board the Altima were uninjured.
Meanwhile, the 16-year-old driver of the Jeep sustained minor injuries.
Officials say charges are pending.
