Woman Killed in Orlando Car Crash with Delivery Truck on Mercy Drive
Orlando, Florida (November 10, 2017) – According to Orlando Police Department, a woman was killed Friday morning after a car she was driving collided with a delivery truck in Orlando.
The crash happened at about 2:50 a.m. in the 1800-1900 block of Mercy Drive.
Police said the woman was driving at a rate of speed high speed when she rammed into the front of a delivery truck. The collision caused the car to spin several times.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital.
The crash closed Mercy Drive between Princeton Street and New Hampshire Street but was later reopened.
Orlando Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
