Man Injured in Orange County Motorcycle Accident on Lake Underhill Road
Orange County, Florida (February 7, 2018) – A man was on Thursday afternoon injured in a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The collision took place at around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, on Lake Underhill Road near Alafaya Trail.
Troopers reported that a Kia van backing out of a driveway was attempting to turn onto eastbound Lake Underhill Road when a Yamaha motorcycle that was traveling westbound crashed into its side.
The force of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from the motorcycle.
The rider was transported to a hospital with critical injuries.
The driver of the Kia was not injured.
Troopers said charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
